Use a coarse setting for steaks or tomato salad, a medium setting for pizzas and a fine setting for soups and sauces. When you need to refill either section, unscrew the chrome cap fully. Refill the top section with ground salt or completely remove the top acrylic section to refill with peppercorns. Replace the chrome cap to the desired setting to start using again.
